Dang Me

(Dang Me
Dang me,
They oughta take a rope and Hang me...)

A George Jones song--I heard it on the radio on the way to work this morning.

Dang Me is a Roger Miller song. Roger's my boy. I didn't know George Jones did a version.

"Say you, say me"

I don't know how, I don't know why.

A tribute to the late Gregory Hines?

Why, oh why, did I read this thread. I knew exactly what would happen, and it has. Virtually every post caused the song mentioned therein to begin playing in my head. Fragments of each are still there.

"I just called to say brush your teeth ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch
but you can be happy if you've a mind to..."

But it's better, I suppose, than the fragments of "Wierd" Al Yankovic's Complicated Song that has been stuck in my head for 8 friggin days!

"Can't spit or blow my nose or even read Sports Illustrated
No, no, no...."
