After reading the article, I was about to say that I've seen Raleigh, NC on the top of a lot of lists recently. This article seems to cite a lot of the reasons why. Most apparent is that two top 15 MBA programs are nearby.

The real question comes down to if the young professionals make more than the garbage men in Raleigh.

I'll ask my cousins at Christmas.

I do miss the ole Piggly Wiggly near Five Points (the Raleigh one, not the better-known Atlanta one) I think it got replaced by a wine bar.
