Default NY Press story

For some unfathomable reason, the NY Press (normal fare: some interesting political columns; usual alt-weekly sex ads; editor's ramblings about his sons' baseball games) has a piece this week on Jim Gardiner, "the oldest working actuary".

That was a great article. Awhile ago, I thought NYP articles were more interesting than Village Voice ones, if only for Amy Sohn.

Amy Sohn went on to write for the NY Post briefly, now writes for New York Magazine sometimes. No longer writes about her sex life (real or fictional), I don't think.

Also, I now know, for the widest readership, never to post anything in General Actuarial, but rather in Non-Actuarial, even if it involves an actuary.
