Default My Senator knows the word "actuarial"!

I was in a hotel room on a business trip and was flipping through CNN. Saw my newly elected Senator on (which I thought was fairly impressive for a junior Senator, not technically even a Senator yet, from NH) so I decided to watch for a bit. Was talking about social security and he used the term "actuarially equivalent". I was especially impressed that he used it in the proper context and seemed to have some idea of what it meant.

Maybe he's learning from Andy?

Nevermind, you said "in the proper context and seemed to have some idea of what it meant." :P

Sununu's a bright chap (at least his father is).

That is not to say that I would have voted for him, though; I almost certainly would not have.

And one other thing ...

Sununu is currently in the House, so he is not totally green (and certainly is not a Green).
