I heard of someone failing module 2 at my company. That's the only one I've heard of though in my 4+ years in the field.

Default Module 1 result

Module 1 submitted 12/2/2010, passed 4/25/11. Passed IA on 4/20. Now if they'd just hurry up and grade modules 2-4.....

EOM1: Submitted 1/17/2011 Graded 5/16/2011
EOM2: Submitted 2/07/2011
EOM3: Submitted 2/27/2011
EOM4: Submitted 3/10/2011
IA: Submitted 3/26/2011 Graded 5/09/2011
EOM6: Submitted 4/18/2011
EOM7: Submitted 4/30/2011
FA: Awaiting IA Pass

I'm hoping that my IA will be graded at some point next week. I was also hoping that when they acknowledge my IA that I'd get some credit for some of the other modules, but it looks like thats not happening.

FYI:
It took them about 6 weeks to grade my IA(1 week ago today). Since then my EOM1 and EOM2 exercises have been graded. With a little luck EOM3 and EOM4 will be graded soon as well.

FWIW, I just had to buy my one year extension. I think I can be done in the one year but since the pace of grading has been so slow it seems likely that my time could expire with some EOM submissions and possibly my FA ungraded. I asked the SOA what would happen in that case, and rather than answering the technical question, they stated that they are bringing in more graders to get the process back up to speed. We'll have to see...

That would be absolute garbage if you had to buy an extension specifically because your assignments hadn't yet been graded.

I'm more worried that they might decide I was a total failure or something and not grade the outstanding modules if they aren't graded when my one year extension expires. But surely they are more reasonable than that, right?

I bought the one year extension and didn't have stuff graded when it expired. They still graded it. Not a big deal. Just make sure everything is submitted by the expiration date.
