Well, when solving for the variable in absolute value equations I told them to think of it as a christmas tree -- splitting the process into a two-sided problem to find an answer for each side of the tree. To simplify square root radicals, I told them to think of the root as a house. You won't let your child leave the house alone, right? So you have to take another kid with you outside to be together as one. Those are two examples.. and -- believe it or not -- they really helped the students.

I mean this harshly to help you out: that section on tutoring is a complete joke. Literally, I laughed...and if I didn't know any better, I would have thought you were trying to be sarcastic. Like someone said before, pretty much every candidate has had some tutoring type of experience. You shouldn't try to make yourself sound like something special here.

It would be like putting:

Bagger - XXXX Grocery Store
-Used knowledge of topology to conform objects perfectly to the bag's shape and material.

IMO, it's better to not include enough...but sound decently humble than blast the page with humor
