Taking a study day tomorrow plus the weekend to catch up and get through COPLFR for the first time. Anybody have a preview of the more difficult/awful sections (as organized by TIA)? I think it will help me keep moving through if I'm aware of them ahead of time.

I barely got through the CoP. I don't know if I ran into you during the course, but I was the guy who couldn't stop coughing his brains out on day two, and spent the mock trial presentation sitting in a sunbeam to fight off fever chills. It turned out I had a bad case of the flu, and I probably shouldn't have come on day two, but I didn't want to lose credit for the course by not showing up.

If it makes you feel any better, I didn't notice any extreme coughing at all. The sunbeam probably felt glorious considering how miserably cold all of the conference rooms were. I sat in the front left both days. A pass is a pass so that's all that matters, hopefully you're on the mend! Are you taking 6U in Philadelphia? I'm curious it will be in the same place.

I am, and there are good odds that it will be at the same place. That's where they held Exam 5 last fall. It was in the main room where the presenters spoke, not the smaller conference rooms.

good decision. i'd have to be in a coma to miss the cop and have to do it again. especially since i'm sure my company wouldn't pay for the second round

Done reviewing and updating all notes from prior sitting with two months to go. 62 pages of typed outlines just for actuary responsibilities, regulation, and gov't programs.

Now the fun starts....
