My son got Smash Bros for the Switch.

I am terrible at fighting games. And terrible at fighting in adventure games.

Annoyed thought: while playing Breath of the Wild, whenever things get hectic and I'm moving around, I invariably push the left stick down and start crouching. And/or I push the right stick down and can only see through the scope.

similarly in AC: Odyssey, when it gets hectic I inevitably press L3 and R3 at the same time and wind up in camera mode. very annoying.

Agree!

I hadn't played for a while (busy-ness, not playing something else), but I finally got to play again the last few days. I'm now level 13, and have unlocked a few fast travel sites, which really helps.

Also starting to get into the orichalcum quests from the message boards. Opened a "gift" from that trader (20 shards) and got epic boots. Nice!

Also, bought Betty Bat's Treasure Quest from PSN, on the grounds that it was a cheap, easy 100% (no plat).

But the trophies are glitched and don't sync! WTAF? If I'm going to buy a game just for the trophies, it better actually give me the trophies.

The true final boss for the good ending of Hollow Knight is legitimately difficult. Maybe I'm just not as good at platform games as other people but I'm having a harder time with it than I did with any of the bosses in the dark souls games. I know all of the movement patterns now but still have difficulty dodging some of the attacks while not falling off the small platforms.

that boss is a real bastard although I think Ornstein and Smough or the gargoyles in DS1 probably took me longer.
