I use my 1st two fingers on the controller buttons - and the pro-controller is built for that type of grip, while the built in ones aren't.

So do I, so I'll definitely add that to my list.

Put Pillars of Eternity only laptop so I can play on the train on my way home from work. Can get in a few hours a week, at least.

I know a few people who mainly use theirs when they travel. In that case, you can slip it out of the dock and use the connected controllers or prop it up like a mini monitor and remove the controllers.
Our Switch came with a thing you can slide the two controllers into so it's like a regular, single controller.

It has the ergonomics of a dreamcast controller which is not a good thing.

I bought Super Mario Maker 2 yesterday. Two things became immediately evident:

1) I need a pro controller. Using the joycons, either attached to the Switch or on that grip, is not a pleasant experience
2) my Mario skills are a bit rusty.

#1 is easily fixable, we'll see how #2 goes

The game is really fun so far. I mostly just played through the Story Mode for now, haven't dived too deeply into user-created content yet. I'm also excited to see what the multiplayer looks like, hopefully my kids don't murder each other while playing it

Kinda curious about the Stranger Things game coming out tomorrow, but then kinda worried it's just a cash grab. Probably won't stop me from buying it, but I haven't been able to find any reviews. Maybe the embargo isn't up yet?
