And, sorry, sometimes the sections cover travel expenses for section council members for appropriate activities (like, say, a meeting in Schaumberg)

I have served with Ali Zaker on the SIPF section council, where he is running for a second term. I believe this would be his first term on the Health Section council, if he wins. I'm not a fan of people being on two councils at once. If he wins in both places, I hope that he chooses to serve on just one and declines the other. There's plenty to do in either place, and it would be nice to let someone else have the opportunity to serve the SOA.

Having said that, Ali has always been a very productive and conscientious member of the SIPF council -- and as a friend of the council, during those periods when he was not actually a voting member. I would be very happy to see him reelected and intend to vote for him.

I wish that I were a member of the Investment Section so that I could vote for my son Dan!
