Default toggle read only in microsoft word

In Excel I have a quick access toolbar button to "toggle read only". Is there something similar in Word (specifically 2010)?

I'm not finding it in the "Customize the Ribbon" Word Options.

Maybe it doesn't exist.

I Googled it on Bing and got this one:

I've actually wondered this myself, especially after I open a bunch of prior year files I want to keep open a while but know I don't want to alter.
