Removing the 42 option from the poll and combining 7 and 5 (since they both mean 100% here technically), the number for 100% WFH comes out to be 13% exact. Seems like a pretty sizable number considering 100% telecommute was still not as common in actuarial as IT.

However, the best thing by far about WFH is not having to spend time commuting. Time is really important to me. Really, time is one of the most valuable resources that we have. There's no use spending an hour every day in a car.
Been working from home 100% for 6 months, feel incredibly fortunate. I have been with my company 20+ years, though. I have no desire to move into management. I have saved 2 hours a day in commute. The family loves it, and the flexibility is fantastic. My department has people working coast to coast - I don't think my boss has anyone directly working for him in the office.

There is another local company I could work for, but I would get that 2 hour commute back, so although I miss the human contact, I'm not sure the tradeoff of time is worth it.

My company just made a formal policy on it, and I haven't taken steps to do it yet. I am currently moving positions internally and want to get re-set on the new team and dynamics prior to working remotely.

Unless the weather is really bad like negative 10 degree outside, I would like work at office for two monitors view.

You can get a 24 inch monitor for $100, why don't you just buy a second one for home...

I did have a 22-inch monitor and sold it for $100 before I left my previous job. I saw people got promoted faster when they worked at office than worked at home in the same analyst positions. Also I do not have a lot experience and like to interact with different Finance, actuarial, and other directors at office environment.

Also the rest room and light are better and more advanced than some of Fortune 500 companies I have been to.

Ok, then your original response makes little to no sense. Why say you'd deal with any weather except for negative ten degrees for two monitor view? Why not say "I'd rather be at the office because I like interacting with other folks in different departments, and I have a theory I'll get promoted faster if people see my face rather than me WFH, plus our RRs and lights are awesome!"?
Whatever floats your boat, man.

I can't imagine choosing the office over wfh based on the restroom. But YMMV.

I have the option to WFH, but I don't cause I'm not productive at home.
