Switch version has tons of new features/side quests. I'll probably double down if I have a Switch.

I've played through every single DQ game and it's my favourite JRPG series. I beat DQ IV on both PS and NDS ages ago (also did Chapter 1 on NES lol). DQ IV has some of the best character development in the series and I absolutely adored that game.

I have moved on to "bloodstained ritual of the night", to scratch my Castelvania itch. Heard the game can be buggy sometimes, hopefully it won't crash like every 30 min or so.

I'm enjoying Rebel Galaxy Outlaw. Kinda like an updated Wing Commander Privateer.

I was adamant about installing the Epic store, but free games is free games. And it's so much cleaner than Steam.

This weeks free games(to keep forever):
Mutant Year Zero
Hyper Light Drifter

Impulse bought DQ8 on my phone. Liking it so far although it doesn’t include all the 3ds version updates

I've only played 1 & 2. Have you seen the 15ish minute speed run of DQ1 from AGDQ or SGDQ (I can't remember which)? It's crazy.

And how did you get those games for free? Did you have to spend money on some kind of subscription?

Nope. Just have to "purchase" them for $0.00 during the week they're available and they're added to your library.

Probably have to use Epic's shitty launcher to play them.

Correct

I just started "buying" all the free ones, so I have 5 or 6 now. But mostly cuz they were free, none of them were ones I would have bought on my own.

I played it on PS2 back then, thoroughly enjoyed it (it's got way better music than XI)
