Default How much do you pay for hotels?

Assume you're paying and not someone else.

Wouldnt it depend on the city the hotel is in?

How much do you guys pay for stuff? Assume it's someone else paying but with your money that you borrowed from them but that they actually won't expect you to pay it back and you both know this, though neither of you will speak of it. Just like they night in El Paso. At least you only had to dig midget sized graves that day. There's always that silver lining. But I've said too much.

Depends what I'm there for. If I just need a clean bed for the night, then I'll go for the cheapest conveniently located one.

It also depends on who's going. If it's my family then I'll expect to pay more than if it's just me.

Need options to be in credit card point values. Can't remember the last time I paid for a hotel in greenbacks.

For personal travel, I try to keep my cost below $200/night, without staying in dumps. Senior rates help a lot. Recently, in Orlando, I got a room at a perfectly nice Courtyard Hotel near Disney for $71/night! In NYC, I usually stay with my son. Hotels there are just crazy-expensive.
