Don't be surprised if Miami gets jumped by a 2-loss (non-Wisconsin) Big Ten champion under that scenario.

As long as all of the selected teams in the top ten I'm willing to give the committee a little more leeway. This is a business after all.

Miami's best two wins are blowouts over ranked Notre Dame and Virginia Tech, back to back and late in the season.

I would say that is just as impressive as anything by the two loss Big Ten teams.

This is why the grouping strategy works so much better.

Only one of Miami and Clemson will be in. Assuming they play each other in the ACC Championship, of course.

Georgia still gets in if it wins the SEC Championship.

group standings:
1. SEC undefeated or once-defeated champion ('bama, UGA)
2. ACC Champion (da U, Clem)
3. Big12 once-defeated champion (OU)
4. Undefeated Big 10 Champion (Wisc)
5. SEC twice-defeated champion (Aub) or once-defeated non-champion ('bama)
6. Big 10 twice-defeated champion (tOSU, PSU, Mich, MSU)
7. Big12 twice-defeated champion (OU, TCU, OSU)
8. Independent twice-defeated (ND)
9. Pac12 twice-defeated champion (UW, WSU, USC)
What about a 1-loss B1G champ in Wisconsin (lose either to Michigan or @ Minnesota then beat OSU in the championship game?)
