It's definitely all you need from my experience.

Time to starting Micro & Macro VEE. Any suggestions? Will taking CLEP exams be the convenient way?

Yes. Steps:
1. Buy Ultimate Review Packet ($12, support the guy)
2. Watch the 30 minute summary videos from the link in the packet, filling out packet as you go.
3. Do the 2 practice tests in the packet, rent the official CLEP manual from the library and do the 1 test from it as well.
4. Take CLEP exam and win.

Just know that you have to register on CLEP and pay their fee, then search for somewhere near you that proctors the exam and schedule with them separately to actually take it, paying their fee as well. You can select SOA to receive your scores during CLEP registration process.

Just got 71/80 on macro using acdc.

Bought study guide.

Watched summaries and quiz videos only.

Did entire study guide.

Studied two nights after work and during lunch for three day.

Just got done with Micro.

Studied 1 hour the night before exam (did module 1 from ACDC.)

On the exam day I started studying at 9:00 a.m.

Watched ACDC Summary videos and quiz videos for modules 2 thru 6 while playing poker on the internet. Didn't have time for any practice tests. Reviewed module handouts for 45 minutes.

Left for my exam at 2:00 PM Passed with a 64/80.

CLEP = cake indeed.

Passed 74/80

ACDC Economics Ultimate Review Packet, summary videos, practice questions, & two practice exams over the course of a week, probably 1-1.5 hours a day. It was really efficient, and the level of practice exams was at or above that of the CLEP exam. I would highly recommend these materials for macro/micro. Its well worth the $12.

Passed 68/80 using ACDC Ultimate Review Packet and materials (extremely worth it for $12). Somewhat feel like I overstudied having done one week of one hour a day.. I think 2-3 days is ideal.

So I just set up my Macro sitting and chose the SOA as my "university" to report my score. I'm going for ACAS, not ASA. Will I also need to send my score to the CAS, or will they get the results from the SOA?

At some point you'll need to submit your SOA transcript to the CAS. Ideally you would do this after passing all the SOA exams so you don't need to do it more than once. At that point the CAS will grant credit for the 3 SOA prelims and your VEEs.
