Thumbs up Instagram delayed posts / API

I'm asking on behalf of a friend who is a full-time professional blogger.

Is there a relatively easy way to set up a system for Instagram such that your posts go through at a future time inputted by the user? For example, this blogger typically needs to post to Instagram 4-5x each day, and the posts need to be spread out to keep people checking for content throughout the day. Ideally, she could write /post her stuff all in the morning, set it to go throughout the day, and bam, she'd be done with her work. Instead, she currently does her work throughout the day.

This would be tremendously helpful for her, so if you have any recommendations on how to make it happen, I'd greatly appreciate it. I've been looking at some Excel-based API solutions, but I don't see anything yet.

Would this be something any good coder could set up? Maybe is an option?

I've never used any, but there are definitely several servicess for managing social media like you describe (scheduling posts, etc). A couple links from a quick search:

Edit: I read a little more, apparently Instagram doesn't have an API that lets you post - but the Latergram service linked above allows you to get around this by sending your phone a notification when you've scheduled the picture to go up, so it's almost automated.
