Default Reporting Analyst

Position Summary:
Based in Chicago, and under supervision from the manager of analytics, the reporting analyst will develop and execute high quality reports and analyses to support client, product development and research initiatives. This individual will also monitor and investigate data on an ongoing basis.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete advanced data analyses
Provide support to the actuarial analytics team
Communicate complex results in a format that is clear and easy to understand for a non-analytical audience
Create high quality reports efficiently
Spot trends and anomalies; provide input to product development
Work closely with data architects to extract and organize data
Present reports to both internal and external audiences

Qualifications Required:
Bachelors degree or higher in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Economics or related degree
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Knowledge of SQL or Visual Basic
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Additional Qualifications Preferred:
Experience in healthcare data analysis and projections
Ability to automate reports using the Microsoft Office Applications
1 to 2 years career experience directly involving reporting and analysis
