Default PSA For anyone resubmitting IA

This post will not be discussing any details on the IA questions. Please do not discuss those.

So I just finished up my second attempt at IA.

On my first attempt, I felt very good about a few questions, so naturally I didn't redo them as I got the same set of questions for my second attempt.

Before submitting, I got paranoid and thought "What if they changed some of the numbers in the excel sheet between my first attempt and this one?". I double checked and they did.

So this is a PSA. Even if you got the same set of questions, MAKE SURE YOU GO THROUGH THE EXCEL SHEETS/QUESTIONS TO ENSURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT NUMBERS!!!! DON'T RELY ON THE NUMBERS IN YOUR FIRST ATTEMPT!!!!

Rant over. Hope I saved a life.

How strict is the SOA on the November 11th deadline?

Also, did you get your grades for modules 2-4 back yet?

Going to say they are pretty strict about meeting the deadline. You don't need to hear back about your grades on the prior modules before submitting the IA.

Gotcha.

Stupid question, but I'll ask it anyways - is it technically due November 11th at midnight? Or EOD November 11th? lol

I have the same question. It's better to be safe than sorry.

The website says, "All deadlines on dates listed are at midnight in US Central Time." Does it mean that the deadline for IA is on November 12th at 1AM EST?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, but my advice would be to not cut it that close just in case of submission issues. Also, don't you have to have a proctor sign off on your submission? (or is that just FA?)

I chat with customer service today, and they said, end of day the 11th, and they are US Central time. So 1am est of the 12th.

I just open the materials, hopefully I make it to the deadline.

Can someone else confirm this?

I sent an email to the SOA and they said the same thing. "The deadline to submit the IA is November 11th at 11:59PM US Central Standard time."
