I'm pretty sure all my quant questions were horrible and all my portfolio management questions were good. So my study plan will be buckle down hard on the new syllabus because I feel like I'm starting from scratch! On the bright side, the new portfolio management exam will be easier for me if I ever get there....

Frankly the morning quant session was so bad for me that I'm very discouraged at the prospect of taking a full quant exam with no portfolio mgmt to boost my score... I'm partially considering switching to the corp finance/ERM track (ERM was my first exam, so I'm 1 exam into all the tracks) just because it seems easier. I would have to take a new module for that track but that's small compared to the idea of trying to pass this quant exam.

Complete opposite for me! Hopefully that means QFI Quant is easier for you, at least, given the adjustment to syllabus. I'll have to kick it into high gear for this exam then hope the portfolio management exam treats me well.
