Not working still, I just tried using Microsoft edge instead of Chrome and it worked. Maybe I needed to clear my cache or something. Thanks though.

hmmmm sorry that didn't help. SOA's site gets very goofy.

Good idea--I would try clearing cache.

I always have to perform logout gymnastics to navigate the site.

Good luck!

What are your weakest topics so far?

Finding Markov Chains and the new additional chapter of Mortality improvement a bit difficult. Joint life also tricky.

1) Writing fast enough, punching calculator buttons and reading tables. The WA questions can get cumbersome, the numbers are messy and we need to document our work presentably to obtain either full credit or not lose partial credit. This exam is truly a race.

2) Multiple and associated decrement formulas and identities to save time.

3) Multiple lives problems can be tricky: reversionary annuities, contingent probability manipulation, recalling certain identities immediately.

4) Lovely stuff like this:

Broad Topic: Long-term Coverage

Specific Topic: Disability Income Insurance (DII)

The formula is on the page visibly numbered "15," but the page number in the document is 16. For convenience, I have linked the reading material below:

2018-ltam-supplementary-note.pdf.

If I may ask, what is difficult about them? There is not much content to cover on pensions, unlike long-term coverage.

The exam writers can add additional wrinkles and steps to make Pensions time-consuming. See the Spring 2018 exam. I took that exam and the pensions WA question took a while to finish. Overall, Pensions isn't too hard, but can definitely become more time-consuming.
