If you follow the arrows at the bottom, they are mostly in order (within individual trips, that is).
I think you just have to edit the post and add the tag.

Alternatively, you could categorize them. Your categories currently only show Cuba and Uncategorized, but since you've started with a destination in your categories, I think (and it's only IMO, please don't feel I'm telling you what you should do in any of my suggestions ) you would probably want to keep categories distinct from dates.

I'm not set on Categories. Cuba was the first blogs I did and I was just playing around with Categories to learn how to use them. After I set it up, I discovered I'd have too many categories if I named countries (I've actually been to more than 80 countries and haven't uploaded all of them yet). Anyways, there is more work to do. I'll look at your suggestions... thanks for those!

The other feedback I've gotten a couple times is the black background. I might have to change my theme. I like how the black makes the pictures pop, but some people find it hard to read the white text.

I successfully installed an Icegram pop-up that encourages subscription. It's not as nice as the paid ones but it's something (for now).

https://thehotflashpacker.com/

Up to 65 subscribers now (35 to my goal by May 1). I posted to a couple facebook groups and hoping that might drive some new subscribers too.

Two fun stories to share for today:

The time I was invited in for Tea with a yak herder's wife and two adorable kids in Kyrgyzstan:

The time I was solo on Thanksgiving day in Armenia and I got invited to someone's house for lunch, followed by an evening at the opera:

Update: a few people that thought they had subscribed but they had not. Unless you got a confirm e-mail from the site and actually clicked on the link, the subscription is not successful. Unfortunately, I can't even see pending e-mails. It's a protective measure so someone doesn't get their hands on a bunch of e-mails and sign them up. I also heard from someone that didn't get the confirm e-mail so it might go to junk. Despite the problems there are 72 subscribers.

The common theme for today's highlighted posts: Mud Volcanoes!

Here's a huge one near Cartegena, Colombia where you can soak and get a mud massage:

Here are a bunch of small oozing mud & oil volcanoes in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan has the largest concentration of mud volcanoes in the world. Even though it looks like lava, it's very cold to the touch.

Not sure if you've read this series, but your travels made me think of it.

I read the OP and thought, "I have no interest at all. Why am I even reading this thread?"
But then I thought, "My wife might find it interesting." So, maybe she'll subscribe. I'll mention it to her.

That would be awesome!

I'm up to 73 subscribers as of mid-day today. When I get to 100 I'll stop pushing the blog so much. Although I probably will post to the AO when there is new stuff on the blog.

I've only been to Russia but Greenland is in my top ten bucket list. So many places to see, so little time. I was seriously thinking about Iran for this year but we all know how that turned out.

Everyone at work is most excited about my upcoming trip to Komodo islands to see the dragons over Memorial day.
