Default Questions on applying for non-actuarial position in insurance company

Hello. I was wondering if you could provide any suggestions with regards to applying for non-actuarial positions in insurance companies in hopes of eventually getting hired into an actuarial position at the same company?

Should you tell them how many actuarial examinations you have passed if it is a non-actuarial position?

I did a phone screen for a customer service position at a local insurance company a few days ago and the interviewer asked me what my long term goals were in the position. Should I be honest and let her know I hope to move into actuarial? It seems like if I am honest, it makes it look like I am not at all interested in the position that I am applying for. It makes it look like I am just using the position in hopes of getting into actuarial. Thanks...

Take a look, and see if your questions are answered.

A bit of studying will fix that, though.

This might be answered better in the non-Actuarial Outpost.
