So, is doing final assessment the worst 4 days of your life? I'm scared.

i doubt it's gonna be easy. people told me IA was "easy" and nope, not easy. maybe it used to be easier.

maybe i should not have put off this whole FAP thing for over a decade, partially because i didn't want to have to deal with final assessment.

"And yes, the supervisor needs to be present when you download and upload the files. I just completed the FA this past week and the SOA sent an email to my supervisor to have him confirm that he helped me upload and download the files"

damn, my christmas plans might not happen then if i can't find FSA's in the office both days. it's slim pickings christmas week and we don't have unimited FSA's.

not sure i wanted to do it over christmas anyway due to potentially not being able to have a google group. i wonder if my sister would mind if i miss her birthday on january 6th. that's the next logical weekend to do it.

I’m doing it over my birthday. It’s unavoidable due to Christmas and stuff

You'll be fine. Think of it as a mini-IA.

FA sucks but its doable. Do yourself a solid and research the questions a bit before you start, that way you at least have some kind of idea of what you are getting yourself into (Google groups work well for this).

As far as a proctor goes, I heard the SOA will make exceptions if no one is on site (like you have a manager working remotely in a different state that is still willing to attest for you). Not sure if this is 100% correct though, as I never had to go that route.

Go for it. Sooner you do it the sooner its over...
