I will be seeing it this weekend and I'm pretty good at sniffing out bad movies that are considered awesome by fanboys. The prequels didn't fool me and I had nothing good to say about the Hobbit movies. On the other hand I'm not a hater, it seems that what negative reviews are coming out are pretty much just bitchy whining over stuff that doesn't really matter.

Full disclosure, I'm a fanboy.

If you're a star wars hater, don't bother to see it, you won't like it.

If you, in general, like Star Wars, you should like this. Unless you are just looking for stuff to hate. Which goes back to my prior point...

Jeez, spoilers dude. I guess technically this is the episode 2 thread so this isn't technically a spoiler.

Empire is my favorite movie of all time. And I cringed through the entirety of the Yoda fight scene in Ep II. I'm really surprised it was as well received as it was on here. So I'm having a hard time gauging how good it is by reviews. Guess I'll have to just go see it

When I heard yoda was going to be in a light saber battle I was like wtf that's is the gheyest thing ever. How can Kermit the frog wield a light saber? But then I saw it and it was waaaay better than I could possibly imagine. And, I can imagine quite a bit. So i guess i'm saying, those comments are relative to expectations.

I have mixed feelings on Yoda in the light saber fight. I almost feel like they went for a cheap laugh. Calm, peaceful Yoda suddenly opens up a can of ... well, ya know.

So, it was fun, and I thought, "You go, Yoda!" But then I also felt like they kind of ... cheapened him in a weird way, for lack of a better term.
