Will be taking this on Tuesday, hope we all do our best and pass this exam.

Exam-takers (like me) might be a little busy/anxious for this as I was when I took the newest version of Exam FM, maybe that's why this forum's a bit dead.

So now that those taking this should be ready(ish), what are the reviews on the manuals? ASM, ACTEX or CA (keeping in mind CA would be manual only since I can't afford the whole thing)?

Default July IFM

So I am at level 4.7 only on adapt and I have taken 5 practice exams. It took me forever to get through all of the material again and get comfortable with the new stuff before taking practice exams. I honestly think it is BS that MFE March takers had to wait 8 weeks just to find out if they passed. Thanks SOA. Anyways, I take the exam next Tuesday. Any advice for what I should be doing in the last few days? My current plan is one adapt exam a day and then get through as many SOA released problems and watch the review videos Coaching has provided.

p.s. Good luck to other exam takers in the next week!

Just a guess but I think a lot of the people taking the test this sitting took and failed MFE, and a lot of the new material is either not computational or fairly straightforward, which could be the reason behind the lack of posts on the forum.
<2 hours until my sitting

What did you use to study? How would you compare the actual exam to the study material?

Any TIA users who can report on how well the practice exams mirrored the difficulty of the exam?

I used a little bit of everything. I had a TIA extension from my previous sitting, and I used that for learning the material and ADAPT for practice exams and problems. I rented the Corporate Finance book from Amazon and printed out the SOA provided study notes. I also ran through the sample problems the SOA provided.

I got up to a 5.2 on ADAPT, which I feel was pretty comparable to the test in terms of difficulty.
