Jeff, this is untrue. You've glossed over all of the work you did before a candidate called or emailed you, and you've removed all of the work that you have to do during the process that an external recruiter might do instead.

In rebuttal. My job here is to support the Actuarial Staffing in every way possible. Thus, the cost of the work that I do is assumed and will be there whether or not we pay a recruiting fee. You are correct in saying that it will cost us $0, but it will cost us from $15,000 to $40,000 above the normal cost per hire if we hire an agency candidate.

Jeff, feel free to spread whatever "gospel" you feel that you need to spread to do your job. But, please, keep our name out of it. There's no need to keep harping and mentioning us. When you mention us, then I have to respond in kind.

We both know that DWS has done an outstanding job for your organization.

Not Gospel, this is just how our company works. Staffing Agencies have a huge value add for this industry.

As for harping or mentioning, it was done once in the original post.

what a turnaround though. noobody could've guessed the plot twist at the end when the kid gave up and DW webmaster and company recruiter come out of nowhere and get into a fight

I'm a newbie on this board and this may not be the best first post in the world, but I have to say the posting above by reemaskin regarding the "plot twist" made me laugh like few "discussion boards" ever have!

DWS does good work for entry level candidates - it has been said time and time again.

Recruiters can be relatively expensive for entry level candidates (FWIHeard) - but a company recruiter saying that private recruiters should be avoided is ignorant.

I used a recruiter and they found jobs I couldn't get to by just emailing in the directory and job fairs - they exist because they is an economic market for them. If they weren't worth it, nobody would pay them those nice fees.
