I don't have VR because it doesn't have any games I'm super interested in but I really want there to be some.
I'd love a compelling reason (i.e. game) to buy VR

Hypothetically, there should be a new Elder Scrolls coming out... maybe in 2021.

Bioware's a lost cause though. They've simply pulled the plug on their single-player RPGs, and gone all the way to multi-player, on-line coop. Which sucks, because the greatest thing about Bioware's games was their stories and the character development.

Maybe Sony will make the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn VR... then I'll take the plunge. I'm just not going to do it until there's a compelling RPG (preferably first person) game to make the immersion worthwhile for me.

Glad to hear that it's a great game. I loved AC2 and did not play any other AC games until I got my XB1X last year and bought Origins on the Black Friday sale. I loved the theme of Origins and I know I'll enjoy the theme of Odyssey as much if not more!

I just cleaned up pretty much all the story lines I want to pursue in Odyssey. I spent a LOT of hours in that game, I agree that it was probably my fave since Black Flag.

Scanning Black Friday sales for my next game to play between sessions of being bad at Rocket League... leaning towards Witcher 3 if I can find a good price.

Interesting! I hope it turns out good. I don't think I've ever played a non-portal half-life game.

Again, I'd say Skyrim/FO4 VR are great games, unless of course you're already sick of crafting dragon-scale for 10,000 hours.

There's some issues with the fact of VR was obviously an afterthought for both games, but generally I think what makes a "good VR game" is a big beautiful world to explore, and the ability to head-shot some scary monsters...

Game of the Year Edition for $15 is a pretty good price especially considering how long it will take you to get through that much content

That's interesting. I haven't gotten to it yet, but I picked up Odyssey for $15-$20 last year in December.

I think it will be longer than 2021 considering they said at E3 2018 (when they announced it) they hadn't really started on it.

Bioware as you know it no longer exists. The people that made it great cashed out. Andromeda is evidence. If you are hopeful though, a new Mass Effect game is said to be in development.

To clarify, the $30 one this year is the Ultimate Edition that is normally $120 or something.
