You go to the locator bar after you've done the search, and paste that at the end. Like this:

OK, got it. Now if I could just get google to quit saying "illegal or malformed request" when it isn't, I'll be all set. (Yeah, just hit refresh when that message appears. Stupid!)

This is very impressive. WolframAlpha is going to give Google a run for their money.
The link is an introduction to the service.

Shorten it to this to try it out for yourself:
http://www.wolframalpha.com/

Type in "wheat futures" to get a feel for the power.

Type in "wheat production" to get a feel for places to add value in the future.

Type in your "weather <your birth city> <your birth date>" for some personal fun.

On the whole, extremely impressive introduction!!!

Yes. One of the coolest aspects is that it lets you quickly do a comparison of information side by side. For example, "population of City A compared to population of City B." You would have to do several Google searches to get that info, then put it in a spreadsheet or something. Wolfram does it instantly.

Heh. The median actuary salary in the united states is given as dollars squared per year squared. Looks like there's still a lot of tweaking to go through.

Shut up friends. My internet browser heard us saying the word Fry and it found a movie about Philip J. Fry for us. It also opened my calendar to Friday and ordered me some french fries.
