I don't want that feature enough to pay for it alone, but that is pretty fun.

I'm passing too. Other than the voice thing, I don't see anything this has that the apple TV doesn't.

Agreed. At first I really wanted to buy a Fire TV for Amazon Prime streaming, but then I remembered that I already have Amazon through my main Samsung TV, which is a smart TV, and I can easily AirPlay the Amazon video app to my Apple TVs from my iPad. It just doesn't seem worth adding more $99 devices to my existing TVs, which are pretty much out of HDMI ports anyway.

I can see how people into games would want it, but that's not really me at this stage in my life.

Long term, I'm glad it exists though because it will only making streaming TV and movies that much more common in households, which will hopefully lead to better content in that media form. Virtually all of the non-sports video I watch is in Netflix or Amazon.

PS4 has Amazon Prime streaming?

I never bothered to check - I've just kept using my PS3 for that...

It sounds like this product is for those who don't have a game system or a "smart" tv/bluray/etc. Perhaps useful for bedroom tv's or the like.
