Once upon a time, the only calculators that were allowed were ones with the SOA (possibly CAS?) logo on the calculator.

Yea, I realized after I typed it, I shoulda mentioned "approved". I just detest the financial calculator and think any other calculator will do calculations better than it

I think I had a "solve for interest rate" that I used the BA for. I think I also solved one question by plugging in the 5 answers to see which one was right.
