Default 23andMe

Has anyone here tried 23 and me? If so, what are your thoughts?

My wife did Ancestry.com. Interesting, I guess. As long as she doesn't dip into her 2% Congolese (no idea how that is there, not enough ancestor info) culture and identity, I'm alright with it.

I think I'd rather know what slow death I'll be consumed by. I pretty much already know my heritage. My wife did not fully know hers.

Seems 23andme would give me what I want, but at the cost of their getting what they want. Then again, they might already have enough of me from family members.
Would love to get results that were pseudonymous to them.

Haven't tried it, I have a friend who did it in 08? before all the restrictions, he has made some changes based off it. He also works for big pharma, so there's that.

Can you have someone else spit into the cup and resubmit your sample?
