Well I never got around to typing out a Discrete Table...If you like this one for continuous distros and want a matching one for discrete, PM me or respond and I'll make one and put it on here. Although I am sure these tables and posted and reposted on here. Make your own! It will help solidify it in your memory!

Exam P Notes: Formula summary

Here are the notes I created when I studied for Exam P. I absolutely over studied for that exam so I feel this notes are fairly complete. They include only formulas, no distribution tables.

Good Luck.

Exam P formula sheet

Here is the formula sheet I used to study for exam P. It doesn't include the formulas for each specific distribution (I built a spreadsheet for those) but it does include many of the other formulas one needs to know. Enjoy.

Probability Course

Hi,
The link for the notes I used to study for exam P1:

I found them very useful. (You have a link there with the answers to the unsolved problems).

Certainly true for discrete dist. but as far as cont. ones go, Pr(X = x) = 0. Also your formula in the Key Review Formulas for (a+b+c)^2 is incorrect, it is certainly not a + b + c + 2ab + 2bc + 2ac The sum of n consecutive integers is not $\frac{n(n-1)}{2}$, it is $\frac{n(n+1)}{2}$
I guess technically Pr(X = x) = 0 is correct since the integral of any f(x) from a to a is 0. However, it is not proper to write a continuous distribution in such a way. That is why the integer correction must be used when using the normal to approximate a binomial.

I just wanted to thank everyone who posted their notes here. They were crucial in helping me pass Exam P last week!

The point was that it was written incorrectly as it was since P(X = x) = 0 for any cont. dist. Why are you bringing in continuity correction into what I said...

Thanks for your helpful notes. A special thanks to aminesky's distribution summary and blackdog29's notes as they were especially helpful.

My Exam P note (4 pages only)

This is my Exam P note, only 4 pages, but enough to pass Exam P!
Not so good... you are allowed to edit and make your own.
The source of this 4-pages note is SOA 140 and AO.
However, please give me a feedback
