Whatever plane the POTUS is on is called Air Force One.

Not sure what is being asked here.

Apple may have been able to design a plane when Jobs was alive, but today's Apple would inevitably end up making a hideous hump on the nose to house the avionics, cutting a big notch in the windscreen. Then all the Apple Aerospace fanbois would be like "It's distinctive, unlike all the boring Boeing, Airbus, and Bombardier fuselages which all look like boring sleek tapered cylinders. You haters just don't understand branding!"

And then require proprietary runways and air traffic control.

Not quite true. Whatever aircraft the POTUS is on has the "One" call number, but could be "Army One" "Navy One" or even "Coast Guard One."

If the president is on a civilian aircraft, it is "Executive One."
