Congrats to your team.
I'm sure it feels pretty good.

Probably every bit as good as it did when your team finally won in 2012, except add 7 more years of waiting.

I don't care if we get our ever-loving asses beat in every game for the next 25 years. All those "Cubs of hockey" comments, all the "how many Cups have you ... oh, that's right, none" type remarks, all of that crap ... it can forever STFU.

Congrats to the Blues. Not only did they win their 1st Cup, they also denied Boston a championship.

They decided to get good just in time to make the playoffs. Bottom of the league in January.

1 > 0, which is what I have known the team to have before last night.

Robert Bortuzzo beat up on Zach Sanford. I think that was after a really bad loss. (Vancouver game at home, maybe?) The team started to stabilize after that, but Allen was still in net and he was inconsistent and Chad Johnson went back to remembering he's a mediocre backup at best.

And then, ..... Winnington entered the building, and the rest is history.

Didn't find much time to post today. Congrats to the Blues! Was really happy for several people I know who live in St. Louis and have been long, long time Blues fans. As a Capitals fan, I'm really happy the championship handed off to another franchise that had not won Lord Stanley before.

Biddington played stellar in the first period. One of my pet peeves with hockey commentary is the focus on the goalie and not the shooter in half open net scenarios. While some really are spectacular saves, some are simply misplaced shots. IMO Biddington's sprawling save on the lone powerplay of the night was primarily due to Marchand missing his placement on the left side of the goal which allowed Biddington to block it. And while hockey is oh so much a team sport, the blown coverage and line change by Marchand with 10 seconds left was really bad. Two huge events in the game which tipped the game to the Blues due to Marchand. Also, I want to give credit to the Blues shooting accuracy in that game. The first 3 goals were extremely well placed giving Rask almost no chance on all of them.

The parade on a weekend is going to be absurd. The turnout is gonna be simply massive in St. Louis.

Congrats Mud, enjoy the feelings and experiences! Last year was incredibly special to go to and be a part of the Capitals journey to winning Lord Stanley and the celebrations in the summer.

@yankee, yes teams will still complete changes with 10 sec left. I would describe it as occasional rather than common, but no, it does not make sense to me either.
