Spoiler:
That's not a bad theory, the "exterminator" was being used so that the prof's son would trust the girl with short hair. She did say her name when they first met, but I don't recall what it was.
Eden MacKenzie is the character name

I'm not putting anything in spoilers, since the episode aired.

I think the dad may have known all along his daughter was special, I mean what are the odds of him adopting her, he just may not have known what her power was

I think time is going to move very slowly on this show, just like Lost, November 8th might be season finale

Then what will be left for next season?

If you're right, it will move really, really slowly, so that Nov 8th is the series finale, which may be this season.

I'm thinking it's possible the flying guys' dad may have had powers as well. The mom mentioned delusions of grandeur, and we've already seen the powers lead to suicide attempts from the cheerleader and the artist.

What's left for next season? Its a superhero show, so there's always a new villian to pop out of thin air.

Yesterday was Oct. 2nd and Hiro's watch said Oct. 2nd. You really think that was a coincidence and the season finale (in May) will equal Nov. 8th in show-time?

Of course, Nov. 8th is a Wednesday, so that shoots holes in the theory already.

Also shooting holes in the theory is the fact that a week did not elapse between the first episode and the second, only a day did. I guarantee you they will not reach Nov 8 in November.

I was looking forward to this show, but now I am not thrilled with it. The number and length of the commercials in the second episode is way above my equilibrium point. If I watch this in the future, it will be on TIVO. Plus, I read a bood back in 95 that is basically where this show is going.

Spoiler:
Sylars power is taht he can steal peoples powers, but the process obviously kills them. Wait until Sylar finds somebody who can detect others powers and then he will be a real bad ass.

Did anyone else think the little girl said something about a cop hurting her family (in her head that Weiss(and the audience) heard)?
