They should suspend registration until they get to a point to where they can turn around grading within 2 weeks.

That's the worst idea I've heard today.

Bruce, Can you understand our frustration? We are the first group to submit the new Final Assessment and only one of us has heard anything and it has been seven weeks. I have seen in other posts that there is a new group of graders so it is hard to understand why we have had to wait so long.

I appreciate your honesty, now can you honestly tell me when I will receive my results for my final assessment?

This is the first I've heard of these delays. I'll investigate.

A coworker-who is credentialed-suggested that all results for FAs be released on a certain day. For instance if you submit on a Monday your results will be emailed 7 weeks from the following Friday, that way you are not sitting in front of your computer for seven weeks.

In addition because another coworker received their results on a Saturday evening it made me think I could really receive my results at any time. So every time I wake up in the middle of the night to get water, I check my email, this waiting has me crazy.

I finally made a rule in my email client that will send a text message to my phone if I receive an email from the SOA, and guess what, I still check my email every 15 min.

Also, the person who received his results on a Saturday evening only waited 22 days from their submission.

I guess I really don’t care about waiting, I just want to pass and get my raise/bonus.

That's the second-worst idea I've heard today. If someone's FA is graded after 22 days, or whatever, should we really keep them waiting for 27 more days, until they reach 7 weeks, just for consistency? Please!

It doesn't make sense to have candidates wait when it's not necessary but it drives people crazy when they are expecting the results all the time.

Thanks for the advice, I will tell my coworker not to bring that up if he is ever on an exam committee.
