I submitted on 11/30/2007 and didn't pass until 54 days later...guess graders are busy with their year-end work!

There are 10 FAs that are beyond the 7-week max. They'll be cleared out next week.

Well, I have four of them in the results thread. Not too bad a sample.

Thanks-today is 49 days for me, so lets home that means beyond seven weeks.

I suggest all submissions should be qued up for grading based on submission date instead of randomly assigning them to graders. I think the problem is that some graders are busy and some are not, and if your paper get submitted to a very busy grader, you will never hear back from in a short period of time.

So, why not just let the graders download them in order so that at least people won't have to wait for 7 weeks.

49 days for me, STILL NOTHING

The situation is more complicated than that during the transition from old FA to new FA. We have some graders who can handle only one or the other; other graders can handle either one.

Does that mean we can expect formal exam results to be released as soon as they are ready, rather than waiting until a specified date for consistency?

Apples and oranges. Exam results are ready at the same time for everyone. And only a few days are in play.

Bruce,

Would it be possible to show students who are waiting for results where they are in the queue. That way we do not drive ourselves crazy thinking our results are imminent.
