Nonironically consider adding USA to the end of your designations though. Can we get an AO designation for a select few prolific posters?

Put an English name on resume -> get interview

Don't disappoint them with broken English during the interview -> get job

I only read the first post. You have a good major, 3 exams which is GREAT. Gpa is meh but not the reason people are not calling you.

It may be your work experience. On your resume (which I did not see posted) do not go into detail on what your work responsibilities were. The purpose of putting your bartending job on your resume is to show an employer that you have experience working a job and you showed up on time. Don't get too detailed, I would recommend you put it at the bottom of the resume like the following:

Work Experience:
Bartending (2012-current)
- managed work schedules of multiple bartenders
- something about multi-tasking
- something about being organized
- something about being reliable

Also, getting a job (in most fields) is all about WHO you know. Do you know anybody that works at an insurance company? Ask them for advice or if they could help put you in touch with relevant people at their company.

GOOD LUCK!

Try to get a teaching or research part-time job at school given your major. Your GPA is low, but you can prove your technical skill through part-time programming jobs.

I just want to say that I appreciate everyone for posting in this thread. I edited my resume and applied to more internships throughout the U.S. After taking in everyone's advice, I got a few interviews and landed an internship. Thanks again!
