I agree with you.
It is really weird to update a list without an explanation, I suppose to explain something.

Does anyone can give a recommendation about task 2?
I feel confused about how could we judge whether the data could be used in developing the baseline company value?
The data is the excel worksheet? And ASOP#23 is actuarial standard of practice No.23?

Any help would be appreciated!

Just do it yourself. You've asked so many questions at this point.

this is not difficult stuff you're asking and a lot of it can be found by searching via the tags.

this one has been discussed before. search the tags before asking people stuff or just think about it. some of your questions are very basic.

when i do an EOM exercise, i pretty much read every thread about it before asking questions. that should be your strategy. there are tags for that purpose.

It seems like I should read ASOP23 carefully before ask a stupid question

are you currently employed as an actuary? do you deal with data as part of your job? i'm in the pension field, so the data is somewhat different, but it's still data, just for a different purpose, so in figuring out as to whether the data we get to run a pension valuation is reasonable is very similar to how i approached this task.

Yes, just start from last year.
I am in life insurance field and responsible for valuation on reserve, mobility and stress test.... Sometime, the data is perfectly provided by other department, thus, we just rely on it. Never have any experience to judge the appropriateness of data.

Maybe the M4 is a good study material to me.
