Plot twist!

"On June 29, the web host for the gift fulfillment web site experienced a hardware malfunction that resulted in the loss of all our members' gift selections entered through June 29. No member contact information was compromised—only the gift choice was lost. In response, the SOA is extending the redemption period to July 25 and ask that you take a few moments to please resubmit your gift choice. We apologize for the inconvenience and want to make sure you receive the gift you earned."

And now I got a confirmation that:

Quote:
You earned 67 out of a maximum of 67 points from your member participation in 2015 to qualify for a gift.
So 67 was the max.

Yet the $1000 Amazon gift card was worth 70 points, right?

If 67 points is the max, I'm not really sure I earned 58. I don't think I did very much. But I'll shut up and take my free polo.

I received a similar email, and I did not get an itemization.
