Does anyone know when registration will open?

Probably within the next week or two. I didn't write the Oct. exam and paid because I was not done with ASM. I will not sign up even though I finished ASM yesterday/today until I can pass ADAPT EL 5-6.

Personally, I feel like it's taking me longer to get through the material than I'd like. I'm currently on lesson 18 in ASM, but by my initial schedule should be closer to lesson 30...
I'm on lesson 7

Don't worry too much; you've still got plenty of time.

I started studying for C on April 19 and sat on June 23. I squeezed in a little under 200 hours in those two months and passed soundly. Just set up a reasonable schedule, stick with it, and you'll be fine. Good luck!

Congratulations! You are a genius. I don't see how I can use just two months to pass Exam C even if I attend fully to Exam C only, without doing any other thing, except if I have just completed the full course at college. In that case the two months would just be like revision. Thanks for your words of encouragement.

Haha thanks, but definitely not a genius! C has been my favorite exam so far (material came to me more easily, more interesting than other exams) which I think helped out in my case. For comparison, I spent anywhere from 200-300 hours on each of P, FM, and MFE and still scored highest on C. I went in "fresh" to all exams but P.

I've posted elsewhere about my strategy, but basically ASM to learn + ADAPT to practice worked well for me. At this point, you should know what study strategies do / don't work for you personally; generally, roll with what's worked in the past and you can pass this exam. If that takes a lot of time, so be it -- a pass is a pass.

Pulling for you and everyone in this thread!

I'm using ASM manual too. Could you share with us how did you choose which problems to work on at each chapter end? Also did you do all the practice exams in the manual?
