Weekly Practice Questions for Exam C
I am posting weekly practice questions for Exam C at
my website www.sambroverman.com (take the "Question of the Week" link). There is also information at the website about the review classes that I will be conducting for Exam C for the Spring exam session, and there is an excerpt of the ACTEX study guide that I have written for the exam. I think there are some typos for Exam C:
1) Week of December 5 "The empirical estimate of the cdf of X is also found based on the ogive of the grouped data set, and the estimate of the 45th percentile is B." The 45th should be 25th. 2) Week of December 19 The questions was asking for P[3<X<6X<=9], the solution says we are to estimate [S(5)S(3)] / S(9). Shouldn't it be [S(3)S(5)]/[1S(9)]?

Thanks for pointing out those typos. I will fix them
and repost the questions. Sam Broverman 2brove@rogers.com
