Do you have power?

I find many people in the US this week do not and this may affect how your freezer operates.

Is the freezer in the garage? Is it 100+ degrees outside?

Is your freezer on setting 1 or 9? There's a whole thread on this one.

How would you rate your freezer, like, a 6, or a 10? My freezer's only like a 2, I have to drink a lot before I want to bone it.

Freezer is in the kitchen, part of a fridge/freezer combo.

Temperature got up to 7, then went back down to -1 by about 1am. It's been fine all day.

It's possible we blocked something (evaporator fan, condenser fan) with all the crap in there and fixed it. The temp seems like it was too high for too long to be part of an auto defrost cycle.

Pseud, are the coils part of the evaporator or condenser?

At this point, we're going to leave it alone. Appreciate everyone's help here.
