Default What year of Excel does your company use?

2003? 2007? 2010? 2013?

If I know 2007, how quickly could I jump into 2013 on the job? I still have my 2007 book. My school has a 2013 office class, but the book is $150 now and will probably be worth $20 when I finish the three semester series and a new version comes out. I think these books just cover the basics, not even VBA.

I'll just learn whatever version of vba is cheapest to get access to, and I learn the specific year my company uses when I get hired. Open Office has a free version. If it has any bugs, maybe I can fix them.

We use 97 and vba is strictly forbidden. Macros can contain harmful code so they are not allowed.

Yeah, I heard the field wasn't doing very well so I figured I'd join up and fix it.

It's a long drive to Hartford but if I'm in the area, I'd get the second one!
