You gotta understand the depth of the papers. Like Meyers there is a lot there that isn't spelled out.

Well this is depressing. Makes you realize you get through the exams and it wasn't really worth it besides 5 and 8 (as a pricing actuary).

Interesting, I had heard rave reviews about CF/RF but sounds like it isn't the case?

Cookbook is very good. CF videos are ok, but more as a review than anything else.

The material on 9 feels mostly useless as well. But 7 by far is the most useless.

CAS should just get on with it and cut that. I know college students' brains will melt by having to choose after 2, but we just don't need it for our purposes.

I agree that Cookbook is excellent and CF Videos are meh. But I think the CF manual itself was good, just don't bother with the videos.

I thought that 7 was harder than 8 and 9. 7 felt more useful because of my work. But I still studied more hours for 9 because I wanted Hawaii and to be done so badly. CF/RF package was awesome, especially the Cookbook.

How would you guys compare the CF videos to Josh’s videos for 8? I usually don’t get a lot out of videos but I did think it was helpful to hear him talk over things in addition to the manual since he would give additional info sometimes and it was easier to passively listen on the train than try to squint to read things on my phone.
