Default COP Registration

Someone else may have discussed this elsewhere, but I haven't seen anything:
Anyone recall how far in advance registration usually opens for the COP? With exam 5 results being delayed, and all those ppl potentially wanting dibs, I wasn't sure if registration dates would be changed for winter '18.

Registration is normally around the 3rd week of July.

You have a valid point if exam results are delayed and people don't know if they have passed exam 5 yet. We will make sure to address that if it becomes an issue.

I'm assuming that candidates that just were informed they passed Exam 5 and now meet the 6 actuarial exam mark will be able to register for the Winter 2018 COP on July 16th, correct? I just don't know if the candidate exam status on the CAS website will be updated by then to reflect this, and I would hate to not be able to have the opportunity to use the early registration based on the Exam 5 grading delays.

Your examination status should be updated by Monday.

The CAS office will delay registration if necessary to make sure the exam status for the candidates is up to date.

I have been trying to register for the new COP but the CAS website wont let me. I have passed all my VEEs and everything through exam 5 and prior. The website says 6 exams and I have credit on casact for 1,2,3F,5,MASI,MASII,VE,VF. Does MASI and MASII only count for 1?

That should be enough. Which course are you trying to register for?

I go to that link but then there isnt anything I can add to my cart. The error it gives me is:You have a session that requires event registration, please select an event fee. But there is no event to select.
