Wow, Mike McLaughlin is really helping actuaries to break into new territory! In all seriousness though, I hope he (or someone) is successful in getting actuaries to break into new fields.

Yes, but I'm obviously getting interest in my resume...

I had an interview for an internship and a phone interview for a full time last week. The hard core searching will begin again in a couple weeks after the exam.

It's just a matter of time...

i have 5 and no actuarial job. i haven't been looking much recently tho, gonna start after my exam. and im in canada. and im not likeable. and my french isn't great but i live in montreal (this one is weak, but i might've missed out on an offer because of it, could also be that i failed at showing myself as likeable tho). i kinda like my job right now, although the pay is half of what ppl get as entry-level actuaries, the company's merging tho so i'm just enjoying the last few weeks before everyone gets laid off. unless i can convince the new owners that my leet excel skills will be an irreplaceable asset to their marketing firm.

I have all the prelim exams but MLC. No interviews yet, let alone job offers.
I will start "job-hunting" after the May exam.

Do a few projects for people that are staying around. Use buttons and colors outside of the gray scale, and you should be safe.

Lets see
Fall

Actuarial
Not local
