How much time do you plan on studying? I was going to start in January but saw this thread appearing already..
I was going to start now but I realized that I should probably do my finance VEE first.

Just finished assignment 1. Plan to grind it out and finish before Christmas. Then get some nice C studying in.

Has anyone started studying for C?

You don't want to hear from those who have passed? I might give their responses higher credibility than those who failed.

Dumb question. Will June exam C 2018 still counts before July 2018 change? I remember Feb 2018 was the last chance to take "Old C". Correct me if I am wrong.
By the way, Will STAM harder than C?

I have 17th edition and I'm short of money. Can anyone tell me what changes have been made from 17th to 18th?

Just curious why you believe this last exam will be harder than previous exam C's? I am on the ACAS track and shooting for a pass first time for this June sitting. I didn't see any changes to this particular sitting compared to previous sittings?

Difficulty seems to be equal IMHO. Starting my 3rd Mahler PE (20Qs = 2hrs). I'll be after these PEs I can get my EL up faster than not using Mahler
Could you give a few reasons why Mahler over ASM? I'm trying to make a choice on one or the other and join in for the June sitting.

Has anyone looked through the syllabus changes and settled if STAM will be easier or harder (syllabus wise) than the current C?

I was wondering the same thing, haha.

Also, I'm in the same boat as you, passed October MLC, now I need to wrap up my Coaching Actuaries Applied Stats VEE and get onto this exam.
