Scoring Rules for 6 and above

SOA website stated how it scores for below 6, but how do they do it for scores above 6? I felt horrible during Otc MLC last year, because I left two written questions blank. I mean, it was smooth for multiple choices, but I solved 4 written questions for almost 3 hours. However, I passed it with an 8, which surprised me a lot, and I'm wondering how they scaled the scores?

If you scored an 8, it means you scored between 120% to 130% of whatever the pass mark is.

No; 6 is 100%-110%, so 7 is 110%-120% and 8 is 120%-130%.

I left 2.5 WA blank and I scored a 7, so consistent with what you're reporting. I think pass mark was just set very generously.

Well jeez this makes me feel like crap because I didn't leave any WA questions totally blank, and I got an 8. Guess I didn't do as well as I thought I did, but instead lucked out a little bit. Regardless, a pass is a pass - so I'm not going to worry about it haha.

I don't get the constraint given the 30-something mini-questions in the WA section, and since some of them aren't even that "mini".

It's like a swimming competition but you're not allowed to raise your head above the water!
